Statement of Faith


    1.  We believe the Scripture of the Old and New Testaments in their original
    autographs to be the divinely inspired Word of God and our only rule for the
    Christian faith.

    2.  We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons. God the Father, God
    the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are co-equal in power and glory and possess the
    same attributes and perfections.  

    3.  We believe that God the Son, by the medium of the virgin birth became flesh in
    the person of Jesus Christ in order that He might die on the cross bearing our sins as
    a vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice.

    4.  We believe that Jesus Christ was raised from the grave in the body of His
    crucifixion, ascended to God the Father, and will return for His people
    according to His promise.

    5.  We believe that salvation is to be received by the sinner as a free gift, which
    cannot be earned, and when a person has truly received Christ, he is then kept by
    God's power and is secure in Christ.

    6.  We believe that the Christian should be separate from religious apostasy such as is
    represented by the National Council of Churches of Christ and its member bodies.  
    We are against the present perversions of Christianity known commonly as
    modernism, neo-orthodoxy, neo-evangelicalism, and ecumenism.  

    Beyond this basic doctrinal foundation, the school will not seek to be divisive about
    such things as the church ordinances and policies that commonly divide
    denominations.  Students will be referred to their parents and
    pastors for such instructions.
